Mr. Partha Dasgupta is a Post Graduate in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Xavier Institute of Social Service (Society of Jesuits) in 1978 and has over 34 years of experience in various HR areas. He has held top level assignments with various Indian and International organizations like ICI- India, Escorts Group, Times Group, Vedanta Group besides Foton Group of China with overseas postings. A seasoned HR professional, he has been instrumental in bringing about cultural transformation, providing strategic support to the Business, building leadership capability, successful integration of big ticket national & global mergers and acquisitions and championing various employee development initiatives. He is also a certified Executive Coach from Australia and has served as member of Central Apprentice Council a Govt. of India as also with CII and ASSOCHAM.

Mr. Dasgupta has also overseen directly start-up projects involving upto two Billion USD investment. Greenfield assignments included, Balco Aluminium, ICI Paints business in India, Piaggio Scooter of Italy, Welspun in Saudi Arabia besides Foton in India. Mr. Dasgupta till recently was posted in Beijing ,China as Executive Vice President with Beiqi Foton, the largest manufacturers of commercial vehicles in the world. He was instrumental laying the foundation for India entry of Beiqi. Developing and executing HR strategy, setting up best in class HR systems and processes, SOPs on HR including statutory and non statutory compliance, besides hiring the top management team for them in India. Mr. Dasgupta was instrumental in facilitating interface with various agencies, and few state Governments for lands and other infrastructure related matters. He also spear-headed Public Relations and Corporate Affairs for them in India. He is now working with a large group as President a Human Capital & General Affairs, with global responsibilities.
