has 20+ yrs of years of experience in Human Resources Management (HRM) area in various capacities across different HR discipline like HR Strategy, Leadership Development ; Performance Management, etc. He has worked in Manufacturing and IT sectors. He last worked as Sr Director – HR at UST Global Inc. Bangalore. Prior to UST Global, he worked at Infosys as a Senior Manager – OD / OE managing PMS function across geographic regions. Before joining Infosys, he worked as an Associate Professor – HR at IIM Indore, and was part of core foundational team for establishing IIM Indore was Area Chair and on the Board of IIM Indore. His teaching interests were Strategic HR; Change Management; HR for Services Industries etc. one of the premier business schools of India. During the IIM Indore tenure, he did consulting work for various companies in Pharma; Telecom; Auto; Chemicals Power; and Capital Goods sectors. He has couple of International publications in peer reviewed HRM Journals. He did his doctorate from XLRI and Certifications in HR Analytics from Wharton; UC Berkeley and Warwick Business School. His doctoral work was on ‘Measurement of HR Practices Impact on Business Performance and thesis won P D Agarwal Award for Doctoral Work in Management from IIM Ahmedabad.
An HR professional with more than 20 years of experience, Ramesh has worked with companies in manufacturing, FMCG and technology. He has worked as a Vice President (HR) with Sasken communications and CA Technologies ( India). He also had a long stint with Infosys, managing Organization effectiveness, HR strategy and consulting. Ramesh has used analytical problem solving techniques to address critical business problems like designing retention programs, effective compensation reviews, and baselining competencies. He has contributed to literature on analytics and is engaged with clients in developing HR analytics systems. Awarded for HR leadership, Ramesh has contributed to publications on HR analytics. is Dean (Academics) and HR, Organization Design and Institutional Development specialist. A Ph.D. in industrial relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, he was Visiting Fellow, School of Industrial and Labor Relations, Cornell University (USA) and has held regular faculty positions at three other IIMs: at Lucknow, Bangalore and Indore, and ASCI, Hyderabad. Before joining IIM Kashipur, he was Professor and Chair of doctoral program at MDI, Gurgaon. He has also consulted with the World Bank, NTPC, Union Carbide, GoI, PHFI and others in the areas of compensation management, performance management, organization design and work practice changes. He has combined his teaching abilities and industry exposure to develop, conduct and administer training and development programs on such aspects as Team Building & Leadership, Achievement Motivation, Organizational Diagnosis & Performance, Transforming Work Culture, and Organizational Change and Development. As part of institutional development and corporate governance role, Prof Ghosh serves on the boards of The Livelihood School, Kriti Industries, Kriti Nutrients and PAN Network and had earlier served on the boards of Cashpor Micro Credit and KBS Local Area Bank.He has authored over 50 articles, chapters, reports and cases.
