Vivek Kumar is a faculty member of the strategy area at IIM Kashipur. Before entering academics, he was associated with the research and development departments of Mercedes-Benz and IFB Industries. His research interests lie in the areas of CSR, sustainability, and green innovation. His research has been published in top-rated journals such as the Journal of Business Research and the Journal of Small Business Management. He has designed and delivered many management development programs (MDPs) for organizations such as Max Healthcare, Bharat Electronics Ltd, Indian Oil Corporation, Defence Research and Development Organization, Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (a program of the Government of India and the World Bank), and District Industries Cluster of Government of Uttarakhand. He has also been a consultant for the Indian Council for Forest Research and Education under the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change (Government of India). He also designed the highly successful executive program for strategy and leadership.
