About Details

The Infrastructure and IT committee act as a liaison between students and college administration for any Infrastructure or IT-related issues. It is responsible for providing safe, hygienic, and standard hostel facilities for all the students. The committee sees the allocation and maintenance of infrastructural facilities in the hostel premises. As a major initiative, the committee has automated routine jobs like allocation of the meeting rooms, reporting of incidents, and resolution of incidents within fixed SLA.

The committee ensures the availability and maintenance of IT facilities like computer labs, Bloomberg Terminals, and Internet connectivity. The committee also works as a cross-functional player with other student bodies for the smooth conduct of the events. The committee looks after the maintenance and improvement of the Gymnasium and also supervises all the shops and canteens within the campus to facilitate the students.

The committee is also responsible for the allocation and maintenance of college IT services like email service, incident management tool, and ensuring that proper etiquette is followed in the campus as per college rules and regulations. The committee holds regular meetings with students as well as college administration to assess the infrastructural issues or new requirements and coordinate with the administration to ensure that students get the best infrastructure facilities during their stay at the campus.

The committee has launched a student-focused website where students can check the upcoming events, check their term schedule, share information on forums, and use the online marketplace to sell and buy things within the campus.
