Biography

Dr LRK Krishnan is a seasoned HR and Employee Relations professional with extensive corporate and academic experience. He has worked with leading organizations, including DCM Shriram, Tata Unisys, JTMTelia (Sweden), Reliance Group, and Larsen & Toubro, with international exposure in the USA. Over the past decade, he has also served as a consultant to major corporations while contributing to academia as Professor of OB/HR and ER & Labour Laws at VIT Business School, Chennai, where he was also Dean (i/c) of Social Sciences. He has been an Adjunct Professor at SB University and a Visiting Professor at IIM Kashipur, and has served on university boards, bridging academia and industry.

Dr. Krishnan brings deep expertise across the HR lifecycle, including leadership hiring and development, mergers and acquisitions, outsourcing, managed services, industrial relations, and collective bargaining. A former Senior Vice President and CHRO, he has led training and leadership development initiatives and handled complex labour matters. He is the recipient of several corporate awards, including the Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan Distinguished Professor and Researcher Award (2022), and is widely respected as a passionate and sought-after educator.

He has authored 4 books and published over 50+ research papers in leading journals.
