About Parivartan Cell
Parivartan, IIM Kashipur's social responsibility Cell, is committed to using managerial skills and expertise to improve society's health, environment, and education. We strive to raise awareness among students and the larger community and promote the concept of “sharing as giving”. As a team, we believe in the power of collaboration and work closely with various non-governmental organizations, government institutions, and corporate partners to achieve our goals. Through a range of events and competitions, we aim to raise awareness and educate individuals about social issues and the importance of social responsibility.
Below are the details of different social initiatives undertaken by Parivartan Cell involving institute students.
As part of the KITES initiative, the Parivartan Cell is providing support and assistance to two schools located near IIM Kashipur. We are implementing the following measures to aid them:
Drives
Blood Donation Drive
Organized a "Blood Donation Drive" on our campus in collaboration with "Bharat Vikas Parishad". Donors included students and faculties from the institute.
Blanket Donation Drive
A fundraising campaign was conducted in the campus for the blanket donation. We were able to procure and distribute 240 kits which included Blankets, Gloves, Caps and Socks, in and around Kashipur and to Vridh Ashram Pariwar in Haldwani.
Cleanliness Drive
Cleanliness drive was conducted in collaboration with ‘Parivartan The Change’ NGO and we were able to collect 150 kg of waste from the nearby area of Moteshwar Mahadev Mandir, Kashipur.
Clothes Donation Drive
The Clothes donation drive was conducted in the IIM Kashipur campus in which students donated their old clothes and it was distributed to the needy in collaboration with the locally situated NGO Khwaahish.
Skip a Meal
392 students of IIM Kashipur voluntarily skipped their meals to help feed the underprivileged. The raw materials saved were donated to feed children and adults.

Article Writing Competition
The article Writing Competition was organized to encourage students to explore innovative financial inclusion models for Indian schools.
Run for Unity Marathon
To commemorate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, we organized a 3 km marathon called “Run for Unity” to promote awareness about strength, unity, and diversity.
Pitch Karo
Bold and transformative ideas ignited the stage, spanning the vital domains of health, environment and education.
Public Policy Discussion
An online event on "National Education Policy: A Step Forward or a Setback?" gained significant attention for its impactful discussions and resounding success.
Other events
Diwali Exhibition
The exhibition promoted eco-friendly Diwali celebrations by showcasing handmade products created in collaboration with Khwaahish NGO. These student-crafted items generated sales of around Rs 30,000.
Children’s Day
A joyful event filled with creative activities, engaging competitions and delightful moments, making it a memorable experience for the children of our faculty and staff.
