Econs – The Economics Club of IIM Kashipur is a vibrant community dedicated to fostering a deep interest in economics and its practical applications across diverse fields. Our primary objective is to cultivate a platform where students can actively engage in economic discourse and understand its profound impact on society.
Welcoming all students with an interest in economics, our club encourages active participation in a wide array of events and activities designed to stimulate intellectual curiosity and foster unique perspectives. Throughout the academic year, we curate a rich tapestry of events such as Filmonomics, Game of Econs, Ecopoly Infographics, Arthat, Budget Prediction, Arthashastra, and Budget Analysis. These events not only expose members to various facets of economics but also nurture essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication.
In addition to our event calendar, the club publishes a monthly newsletter featuring insightful discussions on technical economic concepts, current affairs, and other relevant topics. We also delve into how sustainability and business are interrelated with economics. By providing these opportunities, we aim to not only nurture students' interests in the economic domain but also empower them to develop new skills and create lasting memories along the way.
