Agnitraya, the official annual festival of the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur, is a vibrant celebration of culture, competition, sportsmanship, and creativity. Agnitraya Overview

Agnitraya represents the ethos of IIM Kashipur, where ideas meet execution and passion meets performance. The festival hosts a wide spectrum of events across management, cultural, and sports domains, ensuring participation for students with diverse interests and skills.

Management Events

The fest includes a variety of competitions, workshops, and interactive activities across business, strategy, analytics, and general interest areas. These events provide participants with opportunities to test their knowledge, creativity, and decision-making abilities in a competitive environment.

Parallel to these are non-management events like games competitions and literary events organised by academic as well as non-academic clubs, providing another adrenaline rush for participants and audiences alike.

Sports Events

Sports competitions form a major highlight of Agnitraya. Organized by the Sports Committee, the fest witnesses intense inter-college competition across 11 sporting events, namely Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Cricket, Frisbee, Futsal, Throwball, Volleyball, Pool, and Table Tennis.

Competitors from elite institutions like IIM Amritsar, MDI Gurgaon, and FORE School of Management frequently participate, bringing energy, teamwork, enthusiasm, and competitive spirit to the festival.

Cultural Events

Agnitraya presents a sparkling display of artistic excellence through seven grand cultural events. Participants from various colleges set the stage ablaze with electrifying performances in dance, music, band contests, fashion shows, and rap competitions.

These events celebrate artistic expression while bringing together talented individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Stellar Nights

The hallmark of Agnitraya is the “Stellar Night” series, featuring headline acts from the world of entertainment. The fest has hosted spectacular live performances by artists such as Arjun Kanungo and Ash King.

Renowned stand-up comedians like Chirag Panjwani and Nishant Tanwar have delivered laughter-filled evenings, while the celebrations often culminate in high-energy DJ nights and performances by professional bands.
