Xtatic is the official dance club of IIM Kashipur, dedicated to promoting self-expression, creativity, and cultural vibrancy through dance. In the demanding environment of an MBA program, Xtatic serves as a creative outlet where students unwind, connect, and express themselves beyond academics.

The club functions as a close-knit community of passionate dancers who believe that dance is not merely performance, but an emotion that fosters joy, confidence, and togetherness. Through mesmerising performances at cultural festivals, competitions, and campus events, we not only entertain but also inspire.

Our signature events, Chote Miyan Bade Miyan, PropX, and Danza De Papel, along with engaging dance workshops, provide a platform for students to explore their talent, refine their skills, and most importantly, dance their hearts out!

Our mission is simple — if you're happy, keep dancing; if you're feeling low, start dancing. Xtatic stands as a testament to the spirit of expression, passion, and togetherness, contributing to IIM Kashipur’s vibrant culture and national recognition.

Summary of Events Conducted

• Chote Miyan Bade Miyan: An intra-college event that focuses on fostering healthy relationships between junior and senior batches through dance. Students form teams comprising one senior and one junior participant, preparing coordinated performances that encourage teamwork, bonding, and collaboration.
• Danza De Papel: An intra-college Paper Dance competition designed to help students unwind while testing coordination, resilience, and teamwork. The event’s excitement lies in observing how participants adapt and persevere through the challenge.
• Dance Workshops: Interactive sessions aimed at helping students learn basic dance moves, gain confidence, and explore various dance styles. Workshops conducted by club members cover energetic Bhangra, rhythmic Garba, and lively Salsa, creating an engaging environment for all dance enthusiasts.
• Flash Mobs & Collaborations: Xtatic regularly organises energetic flash mobs across campus, both independently and in collaboration with other student bodies. These performances bring spontaneity, excitement, creativity, and a sense of unity to campus life.
• PropX Dance: A prop-based intra-college dance competition where participants integrate props such as canes, hats, ribbons, and chairs into their choreography. The event enhances storytelling, visual appeal, and innovation in dance performances.
• Ignite the Rhythm – Solo Dance Showdown: An inter-college solo dance competition hosted on Unstop as part of Agnitraya XII. The event provides dancers with a platform to showcase creativity, individuality, and artistic expression through the power of movement.
