About International Relations Committee
The International Relations Committee at IIM Kashipur is dedicated to fostering and sustaining global partnerships with prestigious universities worldwide. Its core mission is to facilitate a seamless exchange of knowledge, research, and culture, surpassing geographical and cultural boundaries. This is achieved through strategic collaborations in various academic domains, including:
As part of the student exchange program, selected students from IIM Kashipur have the opportunity to complete a trimester at one of our esteemed partner institutions. The program ensures that only the most meritorious candidates are nominated based on several parameters.
Additionally, IIM Kashipur welcomes exchange students from its various partner universities, offering them a culturally and academically enriching experience.
We also offer short-term exchange programs which include workshops and industry visits, typically ranging from one to two weeks. These programs allow students to gain valuable global insights within a shorter timeframe.
In its pursuit of becoming a globally recognized institution of academic excellence, IIM Kashipur is actively expanding its international footprint by forging alliances with leading universities across the world. Each collaboration is designed to create meaningful value, not just for students but also for the broader community.
We currently have tie ups with the following universities:
Long–Term Exchange Program (2024)
In the year 2024 – 2025, the International Relations Committee facilitated the Long–Term Exchange Program for 9 students with our prominent partner Universities like Alba Graduate School of Business (Greece), Turiba University (Latvia), Solbridge International School of Business (South Korea), etc.
Short-Term Exchange Program (STEP) 2024
In 2024, 31 MBA students from IIM Kashipur participated in the Short-Term Exchange Program (STEP) at ALBA Graduate Business School, Greece. This week-long program included workshops, industry visits, and networking opportunities, offering valuable global exposure and cross-cultural learning.
Model United Nations
Beyond academic exchange, the International Relations Committee also organizes a Model United Nations (MUN), an intellectually stimulating platform that fosters diplomacy, critical thinking, and global awareness. By simulating real-world international negotiations and discussions, the MUN equips students with a deep understanding of global affairs, policymaking, and cross-cultural collaboration. This initiative aligns with IIM Kashipur’s vision of developing responsible global leaders who can navigate complex international challenges.
Through these efforts, the International Relations Committee remains committed to enhancing global engagement and shaping a more interconnected academic ecosystem.
