Dr. Alka Arya earned her Ph.D in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. Prior to joining IIM Kashipur, she was a faculty member in the Mathematics Department, Indraprastha College for Women, Delhi University. She was also affiliated as a researcher with IIM Calcutta. Her research interests are data envelopment analysis in crisp/precise, uncertain/imprecise environments like interval, fuzzy, intuitionistic fuzzy and robust data envelopment analysis, linear and non-linear programming problems, fuzzy optimization, intuitionistic fuzzy optimization and robust optimization. She has published in peer-reviewed journals like Computers & Industrial Engineering, Soft Computing, International Journal of Fuzzy Systems, International Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, among others. She is a reviewer for Computers & Industrial Engineering, International Journal of Finance and Economics, Management and Decision Economics and International Journal of Fuzzy Systems.
