Prarambh 9.0
Prarambh 9.0 is designed to strengthen bonding between senior and junior batches through an inter-batch showdown where MBA Year 1 competes against MBA Year 2 across 14 sports. Each victory contributes one point to the winning batch, and the batch with the highest aggregate score is crowned the Prarambh champion. As the first major sporting event of the academic year, it lit up the campus with high energy, spirited competition and strong inter-batch camaraderie.
Sangraam 9.0
Sangraam 9.0 focuses on fostering teamwork and collaboration within the campus. It introduced a revamped sectional format where 5 sections competed against each other across 12 sports in a “sectional war” structure, featuring high-intensity knockout matches and sustained excitement. Team representatives were elected through section-wise voting, promoting fair leadership and accountability. PhD scholars, along with both MBA batches, competed with full spirit and determination, playing for pride, glory and team identity.
Agnitraya XII
Agnitraya XII is the Annual Inter-B-School tournament organized by the Sports Committee of IIM Kashipur. The 3-day sporting extravaganza witnessed participation from 7 premier institutes competing across 11 sporting events. With a prize pool of ₹2.2 lakhs, the event stood as a celebration of competition, excellence and sportsmanship.
KPL 12.0
Kashipur Premier League (KPL) 12.0 is the flagship event inspired by the IPL, offering students a platform to showcase sporting talent and managerial acumen. Using an IPL-style auction system, students act as team managers, strategically building squads using virtual budgets. The 12th edition featured 5 teams competing across 3 sports, with participation from over 180 students and intense competition throughout the league.
National Sports Day
On National Sports Day, the Sports Committee of IIM Kashipur organized a 3-day series of events including Table Tennis, Kho-Kho, Mini-Marathon and Tug of War, honouring the legacy of Major Dhyan Chand. The celebrations saw enthusiastic participation from staff, faculty, PhD scholars and MBA students, highlighting skill, enthusiasm and competitive spirit.
Chess-E-Thon 6.0
Chess-e-Thon 6.0 is an annual intra-campus chess tournament bringing together MBA Year 1 and Year 2 students to test strategic thinking, focus and endurance. Conducted on the Lichess platform in a Swiss format over five rounds, it featured participants from all batches competing in a common pool, showcasing sharp tactical play and resilience.
At IIM Kashipur, the sporting culture is built on passion, powered by teamwork and defined by relentless grit.
